Ask a question Im in Legian atm, arrived today. Anyone can suggest a decent place to do some work? And not to be coworking space, something like coffee shop…? Have been hanging out at Elgin Avenue, Jl Mertanadi in Seminyak lately. Good people, great coffee! Maybe not everyone would agree with me, but rather than going to Kuta (personally, really dislike it), why not try Canggu? Loads of great coffee places with acceptable internet, great coworking space as well. When I was in Bali over 4 weeks I ended up going to these coffee shops daily for work. Grain Espresso - up stairs early morning until 11AM when it starts getting hot is great, can also work inside. Excellent coffee and food. Shelter - Great food and coffee, can get busy and noisy but I would sit in the corner with my headphones on. I used Gloria Jeans, not sure the street but in the area. Super comfy and nobody cares if you stay for a few hours with only one coffee. No automatic log outs. Not busy, it's a good place to get some work done.
3 weeks but still I havent found the place to stay yet. I will be arriving on 5/19 and thinking of doing house search for first few days in Canggu. There is now a vaccine for Dengue fever, available in Indonesia & worth considering. I lived in Ubud for over a year and got no vaccines except Hep A and tetanus.
