The apartment had a beautiful view of Lough Gill, complete with rainbow. This complex serves as student dormitories during the academic year, but gets rented out during other times of the year. There was a small store, workout room (lots of equipment), ping-pong table, and laundry facilities on site. The location is a quick ten-minute drive outside of Sligo, so was a great base for the local site-seeing. Our host took us up to the roof and pointed out some local sites and gave us some helpful suggestions for dining and activities in/near Sligo. The apartment was beautiful and spotlessly clean with everything that you might need, each bedroom had an en suite which was an added bonus! But what spectacular views of Lough Gill! Such a beautiful and peaceful start to every day! A big thank you to the staff who were most welcoming and for the lovely welcome pack and were so knowledgeable about the local area, a beautiful walk in Hazel Woods, the Devil's Chimney Waterfall, Ben Bulben forest walk and so much more and the apartments were central to everything!
